Kataklysmos & Working Hours
Kataklysmos, sometimes known as the 'Flood Festival' is a unique Cypriot festival, and one of the most popular annual celebrations in Cyprus.
Kataklysmos is a water-based festival that takes place along the Molos promenade, on Saturday of the Pentecost and Whit Monday. This one of a kind event marks the day of the Holy Spirit but is also linked to ancient pagan ceremonies held in honour of the goddess Aphrodite and Adonis.
