Cyprus National Day & Working Hours

This holiday is also known as Greek Cypriot National Day or sometimes as only EOKA Day.

National Day is a holiday that’s observed annually in Cyprus on April 1st.
It’s a day that commemorates the start of the insurgence in 1955 against Great Britain. The campaign against the British would last until 1960 when a cease-fire was finally called and Cyprus had obtained independence. The day is a public holiday in Cyprus.
